...A auld chat goes a long way bring back the simple things in life and friendliness we are known for
Many an hours on the train sleep read study and sometimes an auld chat. Tony Peacock was one of these gentlemen that was courteous to a chat. Speeds up travel no end, and a good auld chat we had politics to world affairs and anecdotal story's. One of which was a story he told me that he heard from a friend who heard it from friend, he said it was true and I wish it to be. This guy was a train driver who worked on a specific line who was on his mobile chatting about an up and coming match, ten minutes later he realised he went straight by a station he was supposed to stop at you can only imagine the dismay and anger of commuters. The train we were on was one of them old dart trains that always has a weird smell, and the notice board was ahead of itself by two stops, where by the notice board I was getting off at said Dromod but correct and actual station was Longford, I love the Irishness of it, cant imagine that happening in many other countries.
