I received a Wonderful Gift today, from a local gentleman. He has made countless numbers of these for many folks, but he has asked to remain anonymous.
I will honour that, that is the man's wish. If you know who it is, I ask that you refrain from using his name. As you can see on the Cross, the back off, this Cross has been made from Salvaged Wood from St Mel's Cathedral Longford Town, that had an unfortunate fire, as many know. The Wood comes from seating from St Mel's. He was was walking by the church one day, a couple of months after the fire. They were throwing out the charred wood, and he approached a local priest, on any chances of taking some of it, he agreed. In his spare time, as a hobbyist, he has made countless numbers of these since. They have traveled all out over the world since. I have been truly honoured to receive one of these, and will always remain eternally grateful Thank You Anonymous
