Don't know the full details, but there was some accident on the line, with the commute 6.15pm Dublin-Longford train, had to stop at Mullingar, 26th Feb 2020. The staff were excellent at handling the situation, and swiftly organised a bus service, calling on Slevins Coaches of Mullingar. Mick Price representing them, was at home having a wee nap when he got the call. Felt like only a few minutes, but came in no time and got us all the way home on the last leg to Longford Town. Thoughts with any family involved and driver of a previous train, and special thanks to the guys at Mullingar train station, for their professionalism.
Bumped into Pat Clinton Abbey Street Dublin, encourage-able flair for design, I had to ask for a photograph, which he was kindly willing. After a quick chat about the legitimacy of Bill Clintons heritage, he told me he is retired Lectured from a college in Dundalk. Explained his flair, he attributes to growing up in the family business of Drapery, Fashion, and household goods, which is still run by family, which is now a 105 years in business
A very special renewal of vows, forty years later and the exact day and place and the very same priest.
Sandra (Finn) & Kevin Hussey renewed there vows on the 26th of Jan, same date and same Shroid Church, County Longford, Ireland, 40 years previously and the same priest Father Peter Tiernan. It was only his second wedding when he married them originally, and has since baptized grandchild Katie Smyth, Laura (Hussey) Smyth's daughter. I was asked to check out a Instagram page by a friend for a friend, who was cooking up a storm in the kitchen. If you check out Sikuka's page you will see such a varied cooking that would make any chef jealous. Sikuka does it as a hobbie at the moment, while studying in college. Sikuka Rose MaGuire, settled in Longford, and has a great passion for food, might inspire you, Sikuka made me the best soup I ever had wasn't even expecting it, and a few sweet cinnamon rolls that were delish.
