Well done to the U17 lads who pulled of a great win to reach final next week in Tullamore. A almost equal game of two half's, where Fermanagh had the lead from the first half, but Longford never gave up and battled out to win with 3 point advantage in second half. Fermanagh took the foot of the pedal and thought they could see it out through midway of second half, but Longford lads on a team effort and some great individual play saw them win out. Longford 3.13 Fermanagh 2.13

A thing I do is that I like to photograph willing volunteers, no matter weather stand out for others in collecting for various charity's, these people give their time up to help others, I think it worthy and I like to show the real people behind the goodness of charity's Elvis (Alan Adamson) Bumped into Elvis while running for a train, most convincing I have seen, told me welcomes a new manager

Aram Usefiyan Littlewater Street Longford Town owner of the Organic shop that was in the local news recently for not a totally nice experience. I called by to Aram today because 5 years ago I Photographed Aram and Meryem Lobad they were just then a short time in Longford. I was doing a project called New Face of Longford when I photographed Aram and Meryem among many others. I was sad that they should receive such a negative experience, they have set up a new life and family and a successful business. I photographed Aram today and he has asked me to say that he is overwhelmed by the kindness by many many people from all over the country, some that have traveled to Longford from afar to offer support and a lot locally also, and received many cards. One card had hundred or more signatures on it the card had an image of peace and two hands shaking. Aram says to all you well-wishers and callers Thank You Father Eamon Kelly came to St Mel's Longford Town on the evening of the 4th of June 2019. Wanting to set up a support group in Longford for Mary's Meals, to be an affiliated of the charity nation wide and aid the charity international with its much need meals for schools program.
