Frank and Kevin, Both Dubliners, enjoy there time now, as you can see with painting . Very good ones at that too, very obliging, to answer a couple of questions, for me. As some of ye know, I study in DIT Grange Gorman Campus mainly but also a class in Aungier Street, and only a stones throw away is Phoenix Park, where I take to rambling, to see what I see, with a bit of spare time. Frank was previously a Scenic Designer he told me, in 2000 took up Art full time. Exhibited in a few places, Kilcock Art Gallery, Cumbridge before it closes also a contact and Art lover of my work, private buyer in America, and you would see me most in Merrion Square. Kevin told me he was in the Antique business, for over forty years. Took up Art classes over 25 years ago, also exhibits in Merrion Square. I asked them, is it a meditative thing, a pleasant thing to do, yes and no, can be frustrating too, we get a lot of scrapers too, scrapers being scrape off and start again. they told me they are also part of an open group, of like minded artists, for artists outdoors, called Plein Eire, also great for protection of elders and lady's that like to go out and paint outdoors. I had the greatest of pleasures to chat to a local living legend, Bishop Colm O'Reilly. I had approached him, many moons ago, about an interview, was always on the back of my mind. When I was rushing to mass Sunday gone, to St Mel's Cathedral, I bumped into himself, and I mentioned about it again, I asked would next day be okay and he agreed.
