Adelle spoke about Parkinson's disease. ''Been around for 200 years. But still nobody is any the wiser to why it happens. Not genetically with myself, because nobody in my family have had it going back many generations. Ireland is still way behind on the treatment of it. Very expensive, long waits for consultancy, 6-8 months, they just tell you what you know already, at a cost of four hundred and fifty euro.
we did the run last year, over 2 thousand euro raised. this year we have had great great support. From Local Councillors, Gerry Warnock, Mark Mulleady, Padraic Loughrey and Seamus Butler. Also i have to say huge thank you too Declan Nerney and Norman Hall for the bus Sponsorship.
The ordinary people of Longford, friends family's i cannot speak highly of, they have done so much for us.
The count so far on this years run , six thousand and counting
